Describe yourself in three words:
Independent, strong willed, fun loving
What profession other than yours would you like to attempt?
Before being a stay at home mom and S&D stylist I was in educational software sales, I got to work with schools all over the country and helped them improve their virtual education offerings. If I could try something else it would probably be psychology. I’ve always been intrigued by relationships and how the mind works and would love to work with families and children.
Why did you choose Stella & Dot?
I’ve always loved S&D jewelry, their pieces are always on trend and featured in all the fashion magazines and I had been interested in the company for a long time. Once I learned more about it I just fell in love with the concept, I can collect all this gorgeous jewelry, host style events and enjoy girls night out, fundraise for charities close to my heart, and earn money all while still being a stay at home mom to my son. It’s a win win!
How do you maintain a work/life balance?
My family is my first priority and as a S&D stylist I have the luxury of creating my own schedule that
works for us. I primarily work during my son’s naptime or after he’s asleep and go out for trunk shows
3 to 4 evenings a month. It gives me the perfect balance of being with my son and taking him to all his
activities and also having something fun that’s just for me.
What do you like to do in your free time?
Weekends are all about family and spending time together. We like to go out to eat, have picnics at the
park, and I try to sneak off to a yoga class when I can. At the end of the day I love to sit on the couch
with my husband, a good glass of wine and Netflix.
What websites do you visit every day?
Facebook, People, and various blogs I follow
Do you have any advice for women wanting to become an entrepreneur?
Be brave and do it! It’s so satisfying to work for yourself and know that all the time and effort you’re
putting in will benefit you and your family directly. It’s important to do something that you love and
brings you joy and no matter what happens you’ll have learned some valuable lessons.
