Memorial Day weekend is here. It's the first official glimpse of summer. We jump in our boats, put on the sunscreen, lay in the grass .. or go watch 43 race cars for 600 miles. My weekend is filing up quickly. We have our summer photos being taken by one of my favorite Charlotte photographers, GB Lovestoryographer, two family cookouts and lots of time in the sunshine and by the pool. My little is so excited for this weekend and so am I.
This was always my favorite weekend as a teen. I loved going out to see my favorite artists for free. Now, it's a $15 entry fee for the concerts and they've strayed away from rock bands but there are still a lot of awesome headliners. Today is day two of the concerts. We're in NASCAR Country. Why not go out and enjoy the races!? I am always one to say that you must experience a NASCAR race one in your life. We live in the heart of the sport and it is entertaining. Tickets are still available at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
