NORTH COAST NAMASTE
Good news: You will always find a free yoga class in the summer months on Tuesday nights at the North Coast Harbor downtown. Thanks to North Coast Namaste, a variety of Cleveland yoga instructors will host a 45-minute yoga class on the lawn behind FirstEnergy Stadium. All you have to bring is yourself, a clear mind, and a yoga mat.
NORTHCOAST MOMS RUN
Let’s be honest — being a new momma is hard. Finding the balance between motherhood and personal fitness is a never ending quest. Well, end your search here! Introduce yourselves to Cleveland Moms RUN This Town. A FREE running group for moms—or any women—who want to run in a safe, friendly, and inviting community. Run, walk, or jog while socializing with some new friends before you get back to mom stuff. It’ll give you that extra boost you need to tackle on your day. Note: stroller-moms welcome.

EAST 4TH - HOUSE OF BLUES
East 4th is one of the most popular spots for some wholesome Cleveland eats and drinks. But it’s also the spot to get your Om on. Meet at the House of Blues every Saturday morning at 10am for beginners yoga on behalf of ZENworks Yoga. Classes are free but donations are strongly encouraged. Oh, and don’t worry about the craziness in finding street parking. Valet parking on East 4th is validated for all class members!
Pink Lotus Yoga studio is pulling out the stops for so. much. yoga. Join this donation-based outdoor yoga class every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday at either Rocky River or Lakewood Park. Stay tuned to their Facebook page for rainy day cancellations. Oh, and don’t forget the sunscreen!
CLUBSSOLE RUN GROUP
You know Second Sole, right? Well, if you don’t you need to. It’s the popular go-to running store in Rocky River. But the real question is, have you heard of their running group, Sole Train? No fees, no registration forms, no waiting list – just your shoes hitting the pavement with those who share the same passion. Check out their weekly schedule for where to meet and what workout you’re about to dominate.
The summers at North Coast Harbor are getting sweatier and sweatier, all thanks to their free workout events. And new this year was their Ship Shape run group! Every Thursday from 6-7pm (June through September), meet at the harbor before heading out for an hour-long run with the group (three+ miles). And don’t worry — this group welcomes all runners and sticks together!
Have you ever wanted to run a national race or marathon but don’t know where to start? We’re with ya. Meet up with NEO FIT (Northeast Ohio FIT) to finally begin training and preparing for that race you’ve always wanted to compete in. New to running? No worries! NEO FIT coaches will get you where you need to be. Meetup on Saturdays for a group run, follow daily training schedules, and gain a new running partner! They’ll transform you from a modest runner to a half-marathon running pro in no time!
It can be tough to find running groups that are close by and actually fit your schedule. Why run alone when you can run with the ultimate support network and training partners? Which is why Fleet Fleet has four different locations and times to accommodate all calendars. Routes are traveled three times a week and all running enthusiasts are welcome!
RUN CLE YOGA
Three great passions, one great name. Run CLE Yoga is your three-in-one club that incorporates Cleveland Yoga’s Liz Schreibers and Melissa Spigutz’s love for running, yoga, and exploring Cleveland. Meet these two every Sunday morning at Cleveland Yoga (uptown) for a 45-minute run. Then, stay for a 75-minute yoga class focused on the muscles you just used on your run. FYI: Runs are always free, but there’s a drop-in rate of $17 for joining yoga.
RUNNING THE BRIDGES
In Hingetown, everyone knows Harness Cycle. But there’s more to this spot than a sweat-worthy spin class. Join them for a 3.5-mile run every Wednesday night! Start off on West 29th before crossing over Lorain-Carnegie Bridge, past the Q and the Jake, down Ontario (with a killer view of the river), and finishing across Detroit-Superior bridge before ending at West 29th again. Got all that? Don’t worry – the tribe leaves together and stays together. They’ll see you at 6:30.
