Ellis Park has been a staple in our community for over 96 years and is still going strong! Live horse racing begins July 1st through Labor Day with racing on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays… and, this year there is something for everyone! Did you know on Sundays after horse racing, kids are allowed on the track to race?! How cool is that!!

Saturday, July 7- In addition to live horse racing, Ellis Park will also have Camel and Ostrich Races…This is so much fun to watch!
Sunday, July 15- Kid’s Day- enjoy bounce house, face painters and more!
Saturday, July 28 at 11pm- Head over to the gaming center at Ellis Park (yes there is more than just horses at Ellis!!) It's the Big Jeep Giveaway!! Some lucky winner will receive a beautiful red Jeep sponsored by Audubon Chrysler
Sunday, July 29- Furniture Day- In between live races, Ellis Park is giving away furniture!
Saturday, August 4and 11- Wiener Dog Trials
Sunday, August 5- Kentucky Downs has teamed up with Ellis Park to fund 4 new Turf Stakes Races, each $100,000 purse!
Sunday, August 12- The $100,000 Groupie Doll Stakes Race sponsored by Kruckemeyer and Cohn
Saturday, August 18- Ladies Day at Ellis Park! Housewives in the City will be taking over the Gardenia Room! More details coming soon!
Saturday, August 25- The famous Wiener Dog Derby sponsored by Select Chauffeured Transportation benefiting the local non-profit, Arc of Evansville
Friday, August 31- Gentleman’s Day- bourbon, cigars and fun!
Sunday, September 2- Kid’s Day and Petting Zoo
