Weekends are finally friendly enough to wear a light jacket and a casual look. I also wore this outfit when I run errands on the weekends; meet friends for brunch and you know just fall and winter seasons in general.
If you’re looking for a casual, comfortable look with a splash of glam, take a look at today’s outfit combo.
Nothing says fall more than a classic utility jacket or like J.Crew calls it, the field downtown jacket. It serves as a nice base color for fall season and you can play around with colors and patterns for the ultimate fall look.
I wore this stripe fitted shirt with colorful collection pants and the J.Crew field downtown jacket was just the perfect neutralizer.
It’s no news that I love J.Crew, hence today’s post that I’m wearing head-to-toe all J.Crew. Classic pieces that I’ll continue to wear for years so I can justify the purchase.
When it comes to dressing for the office, I like to keep a classic look with a modern twist. I like big, cozy sweaters but I like them to be form fitting.
This merino wool sweater blazer was the perfect combination of it. It’s a little oversized but just the right amount to leave space for an overall fitted silhouette. The leopard two-tone heels were just an added bonus. I don’t wear them when I have client meetings of course because they wouldn’t be appropriate but I do bring them out to the office every so often to spice things ups a bit.
It all depends on which industry you are of course. If you work in fashion, then everything is up for grabs.
This classic tipped cardigan has a minimalistic collegiate and preppy vibe and the timeless brooch is perfect for when it comes to adding colors to the rest of your outfit.
To keep things flowing, I added a polka dot blouse to have mix and match different patterns. I like classic and ladylike pieces with a modern twist, hence the chunky heel sandals that I’ve lived in these past few months.
Do you have a pair of heels that you just can’t seem to stop wearing? For me, these are the ones I’m obsessed with lately.
I love wearing white and this does not change when it comes to fall! This silk fitted blazer is great because it’s light for fall days but it keeps you cozy on those briskly nights. I like simple white ensembles that I can wear during the day and at night, especially when traveling.
Take this look for example, you can wear a simple and casual white silk tee with white denim jeans or shorts and throw on a fitted white blazer for date night.
Wanting to give my go-to off the shoulder look a little twist, I picked this versatile multicolor striped off the shoulder blouse.
The bell shape sleeves are so fun and the stripe and minimal perforated dividers are just the right amount of fun and asymmetry you can use for summer days, especially as we start transitioning to fall and want those extra layers while keeping it cool and warm while you transition from summer to fall.
Little black dresses are essential pieces women have been collecting in their closets for generations.
I love these types of dresses because I can dress them up or down and I can wear them in summer season as well as fall with a light jacket you can also wear them as tops with high-waist skirts and turn it into a whole new outfit. Because of the thick material of this dress, I’ve been able to wear it at night for date night with wedges and chunky heels for a casual yet striking look.
What are your favorite summer to fall transition pieces?
