This month's Girl's Night Out Fort Lauderdale event was such a fun night at LauderALE Brewing. Over 120 women come out to socialize, shop and enjoy some local brews! The first 50 ladies got a Swag Bag full of goodies sponsored by Kristine of Scentsy! And everyone had the opportunity to learn about some wonderful local businesses. Our featured Photographer, Krushot, captured the evening...take a look for yourself...a picture is worth a thousand words. But to sum it up: GREAT NIGHT OUT with the ladies of Fort Lauderdale!
Photo Booth Photos
We had a cool photo booth by Captured Treasures that provided not only a fun experience but some cute and funny photos!
Make sure to save the date for December events! There will be two Holiday Sip & Shop Socials: one in Fort Lauderdale and one in Boca! Same concept but with a focus on holiday shopping! buy your gifts while supporting local women businesses.
The Charity Spotlight for November is on the Military Heroes Support Foundation. Their passion is for helping Americans who put their lives on the line for our country and to never let a hero stand alone. The organization was founded on the sole principle that we will "NEVER LET A HERO STAND ALONE". As past, present and retired service members, friends and families, our 100% volunteers are committed to the men and women of our United States Armed Forces and their families. They supply a means for the community to help give back to the service members who provide us with the freedoms we often take for granted.
Their mission is to provide our military veterans' direction and support in achieving an effective transition during their deployment and return home and to provide our service members with the tools needed to be safe and successful. Whether active duty or reserve, YOU WILL NEVER BE ALONE.
Collecting Care Package Donations at November Girl's Night Out Event
On November 15th at the Girl's Night Out Networking Social, we will be collecting donations and writing encouraging letters for their soldier care packages. They ship to over 600 heroes every month! Please bring items from this supply list to contribute to the soldier's care packages:

If you are like me, you are trying to find a way to get rid of all the candy your kids (or maybe just you) have accumulated during this Halloween season. I have a few suggestions:
3 Halloween Candy and Wine Pairings To Try
THE PEANUT BUTTER JELLY PAIR:
LAMBRUSCO AND PEANUT BUTTER CUPS
We all know peanut butter and jelly makes a good pair. So it makes sense to stick with what works. The addicting little cups of yumminess should be chased with jelly’s boozy surrogate: Lambrusco. Mind you, it is not recommended to consume the fizzy, mass produced bottom-shelf dwellers that must have gave Lambrusco a bad reputation decades ago.. It was suggested to go with Emilia-Romagna’s finest, which are bone-dry, with a touch of violet, raspberry flavors...which come from....yep, you guessed it... Concord grapes.
THE WEDNESDAY WE WEAR PINK PAIR:
ROSé AND STARBURSTS
Pink wines aren’t just for summer or Wednesdays. It's a pretty common household items these days for many ladies. The light, refreshing flavors will calm the bursting fruit flavors of Starburst, Nerds, or Airheads.
THE LOVE IT OR HATE IT PAIR:
PROSECCO AND CANDY CORN
My daughter's favorite is the over the top, sugary little candy corn but I hate it. If you love this waxy candy, then try pairing a handful with some: Bubbles. And lots of them. Supposedly the effervescence of a clean, sparkling wine will mellow candy corn’s over-the-top sweetness. This combo, might even convert a candy corn skeptic like myself.
Happy Halloween From
