What do you know about PFD? Do you even know what the acronym means? PFD is Pelvic Floor Dysfunction. I didn't know anything about it until I was diagnosed a few months ago, maybe you don't either so I wanted to share my story. If I can help one person then this entry is more than worth it.
Our one year bash at Roy's is in April which is fast approaching. I thought I would take the time to write about how I came across HITC. I'm a photographer full-time and met one of my closest friends at a photography workshop. I kept seeing her post about Housewives In The City, she runs HITC in Pensacola. Finally, after almost 4 months of seeing all of these post I asked what it was. Afterwards I knew it was something I wanted to be involved in!
To give you a rundown, Housewives In The City (HITC) is a nationwide "social media platform" that reaches tens of thousands of women in each local community. Our demographic is the target audience for every retail and service business. Women spend all the money in the household - well, most of it at least, am I right!?! Our monthly events are a great way to reach women in the community and your brand in the community. We don't stop at just our monthly events! We do advertising of businesses and provide them exposure on all of our social media platforms as well as our blog. These help us expand our community and reach!
We're nationwide with 70+ cities and growing! Don't let the name fool you, we're not all housewives and you don't have to be one to join us! HITC is a different type of networking; networking with a more modern approach if you will. Our events include shopping, mingling/socializing, befriending others in the community over dinner and wine and just outright having a good time hence why we call them Girl's Night Outs (GNO)! We typically have between 40-60+ women who show up for the events.
Unlike expos or other events, we try not to duplicate vendors for events. We want you to be able to receive the most out of your vendor spot so we try to keep the same types of vendors from being at the same event. We have an entire team to make sure that you and the event are advertised and marketed in a way that will benefit you the most. With this being said, vendor packages are on a first come basis!
I'm asked regularly if you need to be a housewife to be involved in what we do. Absolutely not!
