Vagabond Coffee Company
"Vagabond Coffee Company was founded by Will and Samantha Morgan in 2014.
They dropped their Scotty camper in the middle of downtown Jacksonville and grew it into a full blown brick and mortar shop in the historic Murray Hill district of Jacksonville, Florida.
We believe that everyone is a vagabond on a lifelong journey. It's our aim to create environments in all of our locations that allow everybody to come together as a community and enjoy a great cup of coffee."

Breezy Coffee Shop Cafe
"We are a local coffee shop in Jacksonville Beach offering delicious fresh baked breakfast pastries, savory breakfast sandwiches, delicious lunch pitas and salads, desserts and of course coffee and specialty coffee beverages. We serve a selection of beer and wine with the occasional specialty cocktail for fun occasions. With a warm and inviting atmosphere, this welcoming shop will quickly become your regular hang out spot!"
"We have been taken away by the pull a great cup of coffee has to connect people, start conversations, and create friendships. Coffee, for us, is about relaxing with friends and family. But we don't just stop at coffee; come enjoy a glass of wine, cheese board, and live music in our courtyard under the trees just steps from the beach. A coffee shop is more than a restaurant: it's a community hub. "

One of our favorite past times and going and enjoying the zoo here in Jacksonville! It's one of the oldest zoos in Florida, this year they will be celebrating 103 years! They've come a very long way since they opened their doors! You can go and spend a whole day exploring the 12 different animal exhibits and 7 garden exhibits. They also have a really nice play ground for the kiddos to shed more of that extra energy.
The Catty Shack
In 1994 the Catty Shack began as "The Florida Panther project". In 2000, the Catty Shack Ranch Wildlife Sanctuary was granted its nonprofit 501©3 status and then in 2004 they became licensed and opened to the public. They give guided tours that last approximately 40-45 minutes. These tours include information about their facilities, facts about the species they house – both in the wild and in captivity, personal stories about some of the residents, explanation of habitats, enrichment activities, food, and much more.

Pumpkin Hill Preserve
Pumpkin Hill Preserve State Park is a Florida State Park, located 12 miles north of Jacksonville, west of Big and Little Talbot Islands. If you're looking for a great area to hike, fish, go for a picnic or just get away from the hustle of the city life, Pumpkin Hill is a perfect place to go! This state park protects one of the largest contiguous areas of coastal uplands remaining in Duval County. Hello! I'm Diona. I am a wife and mother. You may notice I post a lot about motherhood, it's a huge part of who I am!
I love essential oils, Starbucks, hot tea, going to the zoo, being at the beach, traveling (any and everywhere), and having lengthy discussions - I'm a big time talker once you get me going.
I can see the beauty in a mud puddle. I love anything creative and artsy - crocheting, sewing, painting, drawing, graphic design and web design, you name it, I probably do it!
Aside from Housewives In The City I am also a full time photographer with a few other small jobs on the side.
