Hey, Howdy and Hi There! Welcome to Housewives In The City-Knoxville... 2nd Edition! If you feel like you've seen this before, heard of it, maybe even been to a Girls Night Out event, no you're not crazy and no it isn't deja vu! My name is Jennifer and I hope you'll be my guest as we RE-Launch K-Town Housewives. Our GNO events are all about spirit and support: The spirit of sisterhood and making new friends. Support for local businesses and vendors, as well as support for local charities. And if you've spent more than 5 minutes in this "Scruffy Little City" then you know we have plenty of Volunteer Spirit!
Over there--) --) in the sidebar, you'll find out quite a bit about me. But
what else would you like to know? What can I tell you? I am a former
Mrs. Tennessee, now just a Mrs. married to a very patient and indulgent man that I call Gump because well, it just fits him! (And I promise it has nothing to do with my name being Jennifer, he earns the name on a daily basis!) I could give you the "dating website" description of me, I suppose... A blonde Leo who enjoys reading, cooking, gardeing and shopping... No, No, No. I will simply say this: I live a (mostly!) stress free life that I love and I laugh loud and often.... alot of times at myself! But if you come with me on this journey, I can promise that we will get to know each other. You will learn more about me and I want to get to know you, as well!
So let's do this: If you haven't already, follow me on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, ok? This is where you'll find even MORE fun! Shareable and laughable stories and memes. Random, rambling and sometimes goofy thoughts from yours truly. And the best? Contests and giveaways! WooHoo! Trust me when I say that none of the above should be missed. Or better yet? Start making plans for our re-launch event coming up in August and we can chat then! See ya soon! XoXo ~ Jen
Hey y'all I'm Jennifer and I"ll be hosting Girls Nights Out, daytime meet-ups and other exciting events for Housewives in the City here in K-Town! Although I was born in Bristol, TN, my dad's job had us living in 11 states within 7 years! We bounced around as far north as Pennsylvania and as far south as Alabama before relocating to Knoxville in 1989. I tried moving away when my husband's job took us up north but nope, it just didn't stick- back to Knoxville I came and here I will stay! I have 3 fantastic kiddos and I have been known to enjoy bacon...on my bacon! Now, as far as Knoxville goes, you probably know that A) Around here football season is a 5th season- Go Vols! B) We take being "Scruffy" very seriously and C) It is a town full of amazing people-especially the ladies! So come on out to one of our events, meet some amazing women, have a great time and be sure to say "Hey Jen!"
