With our first Girls Night Out event less than three weeks away, we thought it might be helpful to provide some insight into what to expect at our events and to answer some frequently asked questions. Be sure to subscribe to our Events page on Facebook so that you have the "in" on what's to come!
To build a supportive community of women through providing opportunities for local women to network with each other, local businesses, events, and philanthropic opportunities.
What to Expect
Is there a membership fee?
No! Events are always FREE for attendees.
Why Housewives in the City?
With all the "must do's" in life, we as women often forget to take care of ourselves. Our monthly Girls Night Out events give women an opportunity to do a little something special for themselves, and connect with other women both personally and professionally.
Can my husband/boyfriend/partner/friend attend?
Sure! Although our events cater exclusively to women, men are welcome too.
How does Housewives in the City promote philanthropy?
Each month, we will partner with a local charity by giving them a platform to share about their cause and ways women can get involved. If material donations are needed, we will advertise these requests prior to the event so that attendees can contribute if they wish. Housewives in the City will also be volunteering at events all across Knoxville.

Hey y'all I'm Jennifer and I"ll be hosting Girls Nights Out, daytime meet-ups and other exciting events for Housewives in the City here in K-Town! Although I was born in Bristol, TN, my dad's job had us living in 11 states within 7 years! We bounced around as far north as Pennsylvania and as far south as Alabama before relocating to Knoxville in 1989. I tried moving away when my husband's job took us up north but nope, it just didn't stick- back to Knoxville I came and here I will stay! I have 3 fantastic kiddos and I have been known to enjoy bacon...on my bacon! Now, as far as Knoxville goes, you probably know that A) Around here football season is a 5th season- Go Vols! B) We take being "Scruffy" very seriously and C) It is a town full of amazing people-especially the ladies! So come on out to one of our events, meet some amazing women, have a great time and be sure to say "Hey Jen!"
