A couple of my friends and I had our first "babyless" night together in a very long time! (Our husbands decided to tag along too!) We went down to Whiskey Row, and ended up at two restaurants located right next to the Second Street Bridge. Our first stop was Sidebar, where we enjoyed burgers and bourbon. They also have the best truffle fries!
After dinner, we ventured underground to Troll Pub Under the Bridge. The Troll is an awesome hang out, and has a very unique set up. They have awesome drinks, like the Electric Margarita pictured below. Overall, it was a successful night...but now to pick up the babies!!

I had a great lunch today at the Eagle on Bardstown Road. Not only was the food delicious, but they also have a great rotating beer selection- some options are even gluten free!! The Eagle is a food and beer hall that specializes in southern comfort food. They are located at 1314 Bardstown Road, and are open 7 days a week from 11 AM - 12 AM. To learn more about The Eagle- Louisville follow them on social media!
Need a quick, last minute Monday dinner idea? Look no further! This recipe puts a new and slightly healthier twist to a modern American sandwich, the "Sloppy Joe." I found this recipe on Delish's Facebook Page and there's even a video to help you out! The recipe is as followed:
Mother. Wife. Daughter. Sister. WOMAN!
