Did you know that you can make cookies from pretty much any cake mix!?!? I recently made Funfetti cookies for a small party I had and everyone loved them! The recipe is simple with only four ingredients, and sometimes it is even on the side of the Funfetti cake mix box. The recipe I used can also be found at www.pillsbury.com.
The recipe is as followed:
- Preheat the oven to 375°F. In large bowl, combine cake mix, oil and eggs; stir with spoon until thoroughly moistened. Shape dough into 1-inch balls; place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets. With bottom of glass dipped in flour, flatten to 1/4-inch thickness.
- Bake at 375°F. for 6 to 8 minutes or until edges are light golden brown. Cool 1 minute; remove from cookie sheets.
- (Optional) Spread frosting over warm cookies. Immediately sprinkle each with candy bits from frosting. Let frosting set before storing. Store in tightly covered container.
I made some cookies with icing and some without icing; both were a hit! Make these for your next party, or at home with your kids. They are fun, easy, and oh so worth it!
