HOLY WOW!!! Our first Girls Night Out was a great success! Even though it was just a soft opener to what the Lousiville Houewives will be offering, I couldn't have asked for a better turn out!
LulaRoe showed up and showed out! The women loved the set up and all of the different options to choose from. We will most certainly be having them back in the future! Sweet Revenge Treats baked their way into our Hearts with the most tasty treats a girl could ask for! Even I couldn't resist my sweet tooth! Let us not forget the amazing Bridget Brewer-Abell with "Portraits By The Bridge" who showcased some of her talent and even covered the event as well! I thank you for all the memories captured. And last but most certainly not least, the incredible Nick Nowinski (Owner) for lending me the space to throw the event! As a frequent visitor of Baxters 942, I couldn't have been more grateful to have them as my first venue! It was perfect in every way. A huge thanks to the staff that took care of us and Sara Dubey (Marketing Manager) for not only making this event happen, but helped throughout the night as well. Make sure to contact her for any events you have coming up!!
In closing, the night went blissfully, and everyone had a great time! I hope to see all of your faces again at the next event! If you didn't make this one, I hope to see you at the next one! Below I am posting all contact info for those interested in the vendors we showcased. Tata for now!!!

Just like every great novel, a blogger has a story to tell. Whether you have a taste bud for local treasures, A keen eye for entertainment, or guilty pleasure for all of louisville's best kept secrets... This is where our page turner begins.
My name is Brittley Vires, and my story starts with a girl who grew up in the small town of Scottsburg, IN. As a young girl I loved being with friends, playing tennis, and enjoying the weekend bonfires. I was a free soul who had big dreams of seeing the world and never looking back, and I did just that! At the age of 19 I married a sailor and moved to Virgina to be with him. As time went on we accepted an offer to move to Japan, and little did I know I would fall in love with a country I'd never been to. Love was lost and life happens. As I entered a time in my life I never thought would happen, I held on to the friends and family I had made while I was there and divorced 4 years later. I decided to stay another year and enjoy work and life as a newly single woman in a country I had grown so passionate about. I have since then moved back to the states and visited for months at a time.
That leaves me to Kentuckiana! The place I now call home 45 minutes south of where I grew up. I am a grown woman about to turn 27, and full of life!
With that being said, I am the proud owner of the Blog and I am so excited to tell all the best stories of this fine city! Stay tuned for coverage of the finest restaurants, best events, local charities, and even a day in the life of yours truly!

Mother. Wife. Daughter. Sister. WOMAN!
I'm currently a stay-at-home mother with a degree in Public Relations from Western Kentucky University. I have many titles, but at heart I'm just a small town girl making her statement on the world.
She believed she could, so she did.
