Stomp @ The National Theatre
I am SO excited that Stomp is coming to DC from April 23 - 28th! When I was living in California and frequently visiting Las Vegas in my college days this was always one of the shows I wanted to see when there but never got a chance to. Now, its here and I am so excited to see it. I find it so amazing when anyone makes music and good music, in a unique way.

🎶 Winnie the Pooh, Winnie the Pooh, chubby little cubby all stuffed with fluff. He's Winnie the….. 🎶
Who doesn’t love happy go lucky Pooh bear?! Over the weekend I got to take AJ to see Winnie the Pooh at Adventure Theatre MTC in Glen Echo Park. Can you believe I have actually never seen a show there and AJ is almost 6 years old! However, I do feel like he was at THE. PERFECT. age to sit through the perfectly timed hour long show and actually understand the story and the little lessons weaved into it and I am SO glad we finally went! It’s so stinkin’ adorable!
The Adventure Theatre has been putting on shows for so many years and produces several professional family productions annually. Mostly all that are stage adaptations of popular children's literature and stories. This small intimate theatre also offers autism/sensory-friendly performances. Past shows have included, Blueberries for Sal, Fancy Nancy’s Slendiferous Christmas and Huckleberry Finn’s Big River.
This performance of Winnie the Pooh captures the true joy of Pooh and I can honestly say as an adult, I laughed out loud right with the kids. Winnie the Pooh and Piglet are on an adventure to catch a Heffalump, help Rabbit scheme to get rid of Kanga and her dreaded bathtub and help Eeyore find his oh so lost tail. The actors have exceptional singing voices and truly do an amazing job at engaging the audience of all ages, young and old.
