On Saturday morning, I headed to Regal Cinemas Gallery Place 14 with Isaac (my 12-yr old) and his buddy to see a prescreening for the movie “Monster Trucks”. I wasn’t sure what this Paramount Pictures flick had in store, but I figured that at the least, the kids ‘might’ like it. However, I was more than impressed with how the story line played out. Each moment of the movie drew us in emotionally; with on-the-edge-of-the-seat suspense and laugh-out-loud amusement.
This high octane, family-friendly movie kicked it into full gear from the first few minutes of the movie and there were no signs of stalling throughout. I thoroughly recommend this movie for your elementary-aged kiddos, all the way up to kids-at-heart (like myself).
Race into the theaters on January 13 when it premiers. You won’t be disappointed!

Looking for any way to get away from the life and town he was born into, Tripp (Lucas Till), a high school senior, builds a Monster Truck from bits and pieces of scrapped cars. After an accident at a nearby oil-drilling site displaces a strange and subterranean creature with a taste and a talent for speed, Tripp may have just found the key to getting out of town and a most unlikely friend.
Melding cutting edge visual effects and state-of-the-art CGI, Monster Trucks is an action filled adventure for the whole family that will keep you on the edge of your seat and ultimately touch your heart.
