The delicious bites at our Spring Fling event can be credited two three of my local favorites: The Grilled Oyster Company, the Urban Winery and Whole Foods Market, Bethesda. While the delicious food served is no more, the memory of it lives on; as do the new relationships and friendships developed at each Montgomery County Housewives Events. You've likely read my recent recap here on the blog entitled "Locals We Love | April 2017 | MOCO". My goal of each recap is to extend the introduction to our spotlight vendors and our venue for each event. However, given the amazing local organizations that co-sponsored the food and beverage for our April 3 event, I knew that this gift of hospitality merited its own blog post.
I hand selected these three local businesses because of my fondness for them, their venues, their hospitality and customer service, their creativity and most importantly their delicious culinary offering. So, without further adieu, I'm going to jump right in to an introduction for each one; highlighting some interesting and relevant upcoming specials and how you can get your hands on some more of their tasty menu! And I can't help but to share the tantalizing photos from our event!
The Grilled Oyster Co. contributed three delicious dishes to our Spring Fling:
*Barbecue Pork Tostadas
*In-House Smoked Salmon & Home Made Cream Cheese on Crostini
*Key Lime Pie Mousse
The Urban Winery contributed contributed a decadent spread of their gourmet cheeses and charcuterie; accompanied by their House-Made Greek Dolmades and their must-have Blueberry Chèvre.
Whole Foods Market contributed multiple trays of decadent desserts and tartlets as far as the eye could see; including caramel & chocolate tartlets, gourmet fruit tarts, mini key lime pies, fruit tartlets and canolis and more!
And while we're talking about Easter, here's a sneak peek of Whole Foods Market's Easter Catering Catalog. I can attest to the fact that it is delicious!
