As a former Paralegal for the Federal Government and former employee of the World Bank, Michele Conejo joined Hunt Country Sotheby’s International Realty in 2014. Michele has real estate licenses in both Virginia and Washington D.C.
After establishing her real estate career in 1996, Michele enjoys assisting people with their dream of purchasing a new home or investment, whether representing the seller or the purchaser. Michele is bilingual, with Spanish as her second language, allowing her to assist even more clients.
Michele would like to leave a legacy for her children and grandchildren, with her real estate business, that would continue to assist others as she has done over the years.

What do you consider your greatest professional achievement?
Becoming a Realtor was really my dream from the very beginning. Now that I have been a Realtor for more than 20 years, I can say that I still love my job. Every day is a new day, a new challenge and a new experience for me. This job allows me to help individuals and family's make changes and positive new beginnings. Working with people from the area, nationally and internationally has been my second broadening of my business.
What are your professional goals for the next six months?
How do you maintain a work/life balance?
There are certain times of the day or week that you must take in order to keep yourself feeling and looking good. So I do take one day of the month off completely. Then I get busy with my job and life. Set schedules and appointments are placed into my calendar for family and fun.
What websites do you visit every day?
Usually it is the Weather.com and then a news site.
What are your top three favorite people/places/things to do in your city?
Sully Plantation, Ellanor C. Lawrence Park, Chantilly Library
What is your goal for retirement?
I would love to live on a yacht in the Miami harbor. I would be living my dream of assisting clients find their next new home, business or investment either nationally or internationally.
Do you have any advice for women who'd like to start their own company?
Yes. Believe in yourself. You are you own first doubter, get over it and accomplish your goals.
