On Wednesday, we hit up opening night of the Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus' new show: Dragons.
The circus is one of our favorite events to go to - and this was honestly one the best shows that I have seen lately. After going to see the circus each year, you can sometimes predict what the acts will be. This time around, I was surprised with some of the acts - and happy to see the Torres motorcycle family back this time around!
I did kinda freak out a little bit because I thought the tiger trainer was going to be eaten alive (I think this during every show, but this time it was FOR REAL). In Dragons, it wasn't just tigers - but also lions, with one large, charging male in the middle. One of the female lions had the trainer pinned in the corner of the cage and was swatting and snarling pretty aggressively. The trainer looked to the audience and said "Are you scared? Try being in here!"... maybe it was part of the show... who knows.
It may sound silly - but one of my favorite parts of the night was the dog tricks. Seriously, the CUTEST little terriers jumping and flipping and showing their little personalities. I loved it!
