Does anyone else hate grocery shopping? I am so busy lately that grocery shopping is such a task.
I also wish I could say I don't leave with WAY more than what I went for every single time I step in to Walmart.
Well folks, times are a changin'! Pensacola's Walmart on Creighton now offers GROCERY PICK UP!
This means I get to grocery shop in the comfort of my pajamas at midnight if that's what floats my boat and pick it all up curbside the next day?! Yes Please!
I decided to check it out this week and I am HOOKED!
First, you log on to www.walmart.com/Grocery you'll need to register for an account and find the nearest location to you that offers the service.
After you place your order you will schedule a pick up date and time. Once you arrive to Walmart you park in assigned parking and call the number on the sign in front of you to let them know you are there. It was so simple and so awesome to have my groceries brought out to my car, especially because it has been so crazy with the rain lately.
I even got the most adorable goody bag full of snacks to sample for being a first time Grocery Pick Up customer!
If that is awesome customer service I don't know what is! My Personal Shopper Wy Teri was an absolute doll and she even showed me all my produce to make sure it was chosen to my satisfactory.
I will definitely be using the service again.
If you've used it before let me know in the comments what you think.
If you haven't, check out #walmartgrocery and #groceryhero for pictures and comments from other customers.
Ready or Not!
Schools back. That means work, school lunches, PTA meeting, soccer games, ballet recitals.
So what does that mean for your to do list?
Don't let it overwhelm you.
Here are 5 questions to ask yourself about your tasks to keep yourself prepared.
1. What do you need to get done today?
Make a list. What do you NEED to get done today. Write it down. Seeing your list will help you accomplish everything you need to get done.
2. What on that list will you skip over?
There is inevitably always something on that list you know the moment you write it, that you are going to skip it today. Maybe its making a Dr's appointment, maybe its your work out, maybe its making your grocery list. DO NOT SKIP IT. Move it to the top of your list and get it done today!
3. What if you only had 2 hours to complete your list instead of 5?
If you only had 2 hours to complete your list instead of the 5 you told yourself you have, what would you HAVE to fit in to your schedule today. Move those to the top.
4. Where will you waste time today?
We all do it. Maybe you talk to your coworkers at the coffee pot on your break for 15 minutes when you don't even like coffee. Maybe you wake up and scroll through Facebook for 10 minutes before getting out of bed. Look at your list. What can you do in those 10 or 15 minutes that might be more productive?
5. What can you delegate?
Do you need to make PB&J sandwiches for the kids lunch tomorrow? Make it a family event. Grab all the lunch items and put them on the counter and have the kids help you put the lunches together. Need to pick up toilet paper? Have a teenager that drives? MAKE THEM PICK IT UP! Let your family help with your to do list.
