In honor of May being Skin Cancer Awareness Month, we wanted to showcase one of our favorite fellow #Girlbosses, Marla of And So It Glows. After "retiring" from her professional career eight years ago when she had to her oldest child, Marla decided she wanted to do something again outside of the home. She always aspired to having a business of her own, and so a year and a half ago she started And So It Glows. Marla has always had a 'just do it' kind of approach towards life, and so she did. She researched the product that she wanted to associate herself with, the best equipment to use to service clients and envisioned the image she wanted her brand to represent. Most importantly, Marla wants to leverage her business to do something greater than the vanity of spray tanning, and getting involved with Melanoma-related issues is a goal of hers for the future.
