All opinions are mine alone. #WholeBlends #CollectiveBias I don't know about you but I like to have a go-to hair style that I know I can do in a pinch or when I don't really feel like making a big fuss with my hair. Since hubby and I have a toddler (almost Kindergartner ::sad face::) I'm always the last one to get ready after making sure we all have our clothes lined up and ready to go plus whatever we need to take with us, whether we're heading to the park or just out for a day of errands. So I'm glad that I have found a system that works for me. And I'll be sharing my secrets here in this post! I've tried countless shampoo and conditioner combinations over the years and have found some that give my hair body but dry it out, hydrate my hair but weigh it down to nothingness, and then there's some that don't do anything at all - we just won't even talk about those! Well I think I've found a happy medium with the Garnier Whole Blends Hydrating hair care line. The system consists of a shampoo, conditioner, and a mask. Now I don't get my hair colored or highlighted so I don't have damaged or extra-dry hair but it does get a little parched sometimes just naturally. I love this line because although it hydrates and makes my hair shiny and smooth, it doesn't weigh it down and just make it lifeless. Another way I know that a hair car line is working for me is if I heat style it and it stays that way all day - whether it's curled or straightened. I thought I'd share with you what my go-to style has been over the past few weeks since starting to use the Whole Blends line. After using the shampoo and conditioner (or mask - which I do once a week in place of the conditioner), I let my hair air dry while I put on my moisturizer, sunscreen, etc. Then I comb through with a wide tooth comb and blowdry as normal. While my curling iron is heating up, I section off my hair to prep for curling Then the curling begins... I like to curl the sections closest to my face back and then alternate with some curled forward. This ensures that all your curls will not stick together and form one big wave of hair. Then the curling begins... I like to curl the sections closest to my face back and then alternate with some curled forward. This ensures that all your curls will not stick together and form one big wave of hair. After all that curling, which honestly only takes a few minutes since I don't leave my hair in the curling iron very long, you end up with something like this. Semi-tight ringlet curls. I then either turn my head upside down and tousle my hair around a bit or just gently rake my fingers through it to break up the curls and end up with more of a wave than structured curls. After a quick spritz of flexible hairspray, I'm ready to head out the door and conquer my day - or finish up that blog post and send some emails :) In this new Garnier Whole Blends collection, there's 6 different lines to choose from, including: Repairing, Smoothing, Refreshing, Nourishing, Color Care, and Hydrating - which is the line that I've tried. The Hydrating line is made with coconut water and vanilla milk so it not only leaves your hair hydrated and silky but it smells great too!
