This month's leading lady, Tina Musselwhite, and her husband got a golden retriever puppy back in 1999 as a puppy mill rescue. The puppy had severe allergies by 6 months of age, so Tina started baking treats for her. In early 2000, Tina started Gourmutt's Bakery as a wholesale bakery in her home part-time while she worked full-time in human resources. In 2004, she quit her full-time job and opened a retail location in North Raleigh. By 2007, Tina had expanded to a larger retail space and added the boutique part of the business. Today, Tina has one full-time employee and 2 part-time employees at Gourmutt's Bakery!
In addition to Gourmutt's Bakery, Tina is a Rodan + Fields consultant - talk about an ambitious woman!
