Every year St. Patrick's Day comes around and with it comes nasty green drinks made with dye, corn syrup and other ingredients that don't love on your body.
Try this simple recipe that both you and your kids will love, without any guilt.
Put it in a fancy glass if you need to.
2 cups of milk (whatever kind is your fave)
1 cup of ice
1-2 scoops of Spirulina powder
1/2 -1 dropper of liquid stevia (or whatever sweetener you fancy)
1/3 cup chocolate chips (I prefer sugar free chips sweetened with stevia)
1-2 drops of doTerra peppermint oil
1 scoop of collagen or vanilla protein powder to enhance protein content (I prefer Vital Farms collagen or doTerra's Vanilla Trim Shake powder)
1 cup of spinach for added fiber and veggie power
1 tsp MCT oil to boost fat burning power
These are approximate "measurements: cause I'm more of a throw it all in there and see what happens kind of chef unless I'm baking, so add more or less of any ingredient you love or tolerate.
Blend all the ingredients together at once and serve!
Top with real whip cream and sprinkle a little spirulina powder for fun!
