It is Rodeo time here in SATX and if you drive downtown or near the east side you can tell. Yesterday I got stuck behind a long lane of big trucks with all cowboys hats in side. Yehaw!!
Time for me to bust out my cowgirl boots. Fun fact: I grew up a cowgirl and spent my highschool days running around the great state of Arizona running barrels on the rodeo team. Sad note: I wasn’t very good. But it was fun.
If you want a rundown of everything that is happening there is a great list on the sarodeo.com. You can check out tons of great exhibets and entertainment today Feb 9th thru the 26th.
I am most looking forward to those sill pig races. My boys get such a kick at betting on who will win. I also love to check out the college circuit that happens on Sunday evening.
If the riding rides at the carnival is your thing then be sure to come down and enjoy Huggies $1 Fridays at the Rodeo that happen tomorrow the 10th, 17th and the 24th. Along with Monday, Presidents Day, the 20th.
Check me out tomorrow afternoon when I go live at the pig races, a bmx trick show along with whatever else strikes my fancy.
What are you looking forward to this year at the SA Rodeo and Stock show?
"Think like a Queen. A Queen is not afraid to fail. Failure is another steppingstone to greatness" -Oprah Winfrey
This is my mantra on life and how I live. I am not scared to fail because that motivates me more if I do. I learn to live one day at a time and will never be too old for it.
I enjoy spending time with boyfriend whether it's traveling, reading a book, trying new eateries or playing with my dog. I find myself as easy going as it gets.
