Okay, who else has started watching Marie Kondo's series on Netflix about tidying up their house and life? I watched the first episode, and I seriously felt like my husband and I are JUST like that couple in so many ways! It's time to get it together and purge all these things that do not bring us joy anymore. I am going to start this process, and I'll make sure to document as I go so that I can share it with y'all!
I'd love to hear from anyone who may have done a purge like this, and how it impacted you and your life. We can even chat about it Tuesday at GNO, I cannot wait to see y'all! Here we are again, in a new year! As we get older, they seem to go by faster and faster. This makes me sad and excited at the same time. There are so many things I look forward to in the new year, but setting my own goals is one that I need to make more of a priority. I want to make REALISTIC goals - not just the usual eat healthy and get back in shape (which I have been saying I want to do since I had kids almost three years ago).
First goal: BLOG MORE!! I should be blogging so much more for y'all, and one of my goals is to make sure that I do. I want to keep you up to date on city happenings, ladies we love, local charities, and maybe some really awesome life hacks that I feel more people should know about.
Second goal: More family time. I have most weekends with my husband and kids, but sometimes I put the cleaning and errands before my quality time with them when I'm not working and they aren't at daycare or work. There is a really awesome nature center here in Wichita Falls, and I think I'm going to have us become members so that we can go and learn new, exciting things more frequently.
Third goal: Be HAPPY! Sometimes I feel like I have fallen into the same old routine, and the days just pass by with no changes. I need to start doing more things that make ME happy, and I need to take my ME time. This will help me tremendously when it comes to my productivity and my relationships.
What are some of your goals this year? Let's SLAY 2019 together!!
Hope to see everyone at our next GNO at Chili's on January 15th from 5:30-8:30! Get your tickets here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/girls-night-out-at-chilis-grill-bar-tickets-53256700224?aff=efbeventtix&fbclid=IwAR2Oe0SQtN9A8RIdu7pMEqOXSurVBSp357TNpPMpXxEWzmvpmxYbfuM6d2o
