Aloha lovely people! As you can tell I recently just got back from my first trip to Hawaii and it was so nice! We went to Kauai which is known as the jungle island and not so touristy or city like as the other islands. I learned that you can't build a building there taller than a palm tree, that's the law! Pretty amazing. This photo above is me at Waimea Canyon which was insanely huge and awesome, it's not quite as big but comparable to the Grand Canyon in AZ. As you can see, it was pretty chilly up there though, we drove for about 17 miles all the way up to check out this view and it was totally worth it! A must see if you're ever in Kauai.
We also of course had our sunny beach days at Hanalei Bay and some other sweet spots, saw some waterfalls, took sunset boardwalk strolls, practiced yoga on the beach (loved this) & ate at some really yummy restaurants! Seriously ALL of the food was delicious, I was surprised. I'm not sure what I was expecting but I was very impressed with how fresh and tasty every meal was. We stayed in Kapaa'a and ate mostly at places within walking distance of our resort.
So my question is, what island should we visit next?? I've hard Maui has a bit of everything so I think that may be the one but I'd love to hear your thoughts and recommendations!! Check out the photos below from our vacay!
