A Blissful Day at Spavia, Lincoln Park

Last week I had the most relaxing day I have had in a LONG time at Spavia, Lincoln Park.

I signed up for the Escape package...I knew that I was going in for a massage and a facial, but seeing how I have never been much of someone to explore beyond a basic massage, I had no idea what sort of a treat I was in for!

I was greeted with a warm and friendly smile and escorted into the women’s changing area. This was no ordinary area! Complete with changing rooms, restroom, shower, robes, sandals, toiletries and chocolate mints to make sure you are ready for your ultimate experience or to head back to the office when you are done.

From there I entered to the women’s lounge; a dimly lit, relaxation room stocked with herbal teas and chocolate mints to pair perfectly with the latest reading.

The therapist or esthetician will come find you when it is time for appointment and there you will find sheer bliss! I can honestly say I received the best deep tissue massage in my entire life and I have had quite a few!

After finding utter bliss I was then taken back to the relaxation lounge where my custom made salad was waiting for me. I had twenty minutes of peace with my greens and then was escorted to my next service, 70min facial, warm scalp massage and hand treatment. I had no idea that I could come to a whole new level of relaxation and my skin has been glowing all week!
