Multiple sclerosis is an unpredictable, often disabling disease of the central nervous system that interrupts the flow of information within the brain, and between the brain and body.
The National MS Society mobilizes people and resources so that everyone affected by MS can live their best lives as we stop MS in its tracks, restore what has been lost and end MS forever.
To fulfill this mission, the Society funds cutting-edge research, drives change through advocacy, facilitates professional education, collaborates with MS organizations around the world, and provides programs and services designed to help people with MS and their families move their lives forward.
Last year alone, through our comprehensive nationwide network of services, the Society devoted more than $100 million to connect approximately one million people affected by MS to the connections, information and resources they need.
To move us closer to a world free of MS, the Society also invested $42 million to support more than 380 new and ongoing research projects around the world.
The Society is dedicated to achieving a world free of MS. Join the movement at nationalMSsociety.org.

Last month we had the pleasure of vacationing in Montego Bay, Jamaica for our good friend’s wedding. My husband has been to the island six times before this trip and I always heckled him for going to the same place over and over…. Until I went myself. I can see why he keeps coming back! We LOVED Jamaica!
The Digs: Hyatt Zilara Rose Hall, MOBAY
We stayed at the Hyatt Zilara Rose Hall in Montego Bay and it did not disappoint! For starters, when thinking of the word vacation I immediately think relax. Well it is not very relaxing when you have layovers and long drives to your final destination. That is part of why this location was such a win for us. We flew United Airlines nonstop to MOBAY airport and then had only an 11 minute ride to the hotel (that included 3 stops along the way!). Efficient AND convenient!
When we arrived at the Hyatt Zilara Rose Hall we were immediately greeted with champagne and promptly shown to our room; THAT is what I call relaxing!
Our room was nothing short of superb! Mind you, we did not request a certain room or pay extra for anything bigger or special and ended up with stellar views from our own, private balcony. Heaven is real!
All of the staff was beyond friendly, always smiling and genuinely happy; their joy was infectious! The food was 4-star and the Jamaican Hurricanes….well, let’s just say that you have to try them for yourselves… #Delish!
