so WE went to a cyclones game
As most of you who follow along on face book know we took the girls to a Cincinnati Cyclones game at the Heritage Bank Center.
We decided to take the girls because it was Nickelodeon Paw Patrol night which is Nixon my oldest favorite cartoon at the moment so I thought it would be nice for her to see and little sister Nolyn does whatever big sister likes.
"There was Fire"
I had not been to a hockey game probably since I was 8 or 9 years old so it’s been a really long time and I wasn’t sure what to expect.
First off we had so much fun! My kids 2.5 and 1.5 were pretty content most of the game and we didn’t even have to leave early! Which is a win because we don’t even go out to eat often because the my get antsy at restaurants in just a few minutes.
The first part that caught our attention was at the opening when they introduced all the Cyclones players. There was fire, fun music, and the crowd was excited!
Through out the game as teams scored they either played music or a buzzer depending on who scored. They had fun entertainment and games on the screens between periods. My favorite was when they had a lion king moment and you seen everyone holding their kids and babies up to the sky me included, Nolyn had a lot of fun with but we didn’t make on the Jumbotron haha.
Probably the best part for us adults was watching the game and the hockey fights! (I mean that’s why people watch it right?)
fight to the end!
We got to watch the Cyclones win over Indy Fuel 6-5!!!
My husband enjoyed it so much we went to another game Saturday night for date night!
The ticket prices are reasonable and they seemed to be available all the way up until the game started. We bought ours at like 10 Friday night once we secured a sitter.
I definitely recommend taking the kids, go out on a date night and have fun enjoying one of our local sporting events! They have a game this Friday so check it out!

Well last week we had our so much fun Galentines event hosted at West Side Brewing, one of my favorite breweries in the city.
I know we had some rain last Wednesday so we had some of you ladies skip out one me I promise my feelings aren’t hurt. But thats because I know you will be there for the next event coming up soon in March at Blinkers Tavern!
Here is what you missed if you didn’t make it out to Galentines or a recap of all the fun we had if you were there.
Here is what you missed.
We had had some awesome boss babe businesses featured including Leeann with Mary Kay, Color Street with Jami, the very stylish T’s chic boutique, a Wellness company, some amazing home decor and custom tumblers, and lets not forget a professional headshot photographer!
And lets not forget West Side brewing had us the hookup on some great beverages! They had a food truck featured at the brewery that night as well that was providing Rustic Urban Cuisine that instead of paying a set price you paid what you could to support the Non Profit Organization. Which was also yummy Vegan food!
I handed out Roses to all of our lovely ladies who made it out to the event as well as had cupcakes and chocolates to celebrate all of the lovely ladies who support us!
I hope you can make it out to one of our upcoming events in March! We actually are featuring two events and one is even on a Saturday so you have options!

As most of you know last week I attended the premier show Cirque Du Soliel Axel at the Heritage Bank Center.
Axel is only 2nd on ice show Cirque has done in 35 years. The show includes 85 cast and crew members from all over the world!
Axel the star of the show sang original songs as well as hits from bands such as The Bee Gees!
The choreography was amazing show on ice, the skaters could do any move you would see on in Olympic competition as well as acrobats with their skates on.
During my backstage tour I was able to watch the performers get ready for the premier, practice stunts, choreography, and see some of the costumes for the performance. For this show they have around 500 costume pieces that come to every city with them! Crazy right?
They also have cooks and kitchen setup to help keep the performers and crew fed through out their stay.
One of my favorite things from the show that I got to see a sneak of behind the scenes is the Russian swing, this is the first time it has ever been performed on ice, so for me it makes it even more special to watch!
Also my other favorite scene was when the performers were using the chain for their performance. I love aerial silks it’s one of my favorite things to watch and I’ve never seen it done on chains but it was completely amazing!
If you have never seen a cirque Du Soliel show I definitely recommend trying to catch one when it comes to town. They are by far one of my favorite types of shows to attend.
You can look up shoes and get your tickets here:
I hope you can make it to a show soon! I know I am checking out tickets now to the the show OVO coming to Louisville this spring!
I’m very excited to be bringing Cincinnati Housewives in the city back!
I will be hosting monthly girl’s night out events across the tri-state area, sharing delicious recipes, teaching you all of my tricks on saving money and introducing you to my favorite travel spots. We will get together at a different venue each month to hang out and have a great time!
