Come meet Jennifer at Wednesday night's event! But first, check out this Q&A about her business and family.
HITC: What is your business?
JJ: I do Hempworx currently full-time.
HITC: When did you start them?
JJ: January 2019
HITC: What has been your biggest challenge as a business owner?
JJ: To get people educated on my products and what it could do for them. Too many people jump to conclusions and don't want to hear about the benefits.
HITC: Do you have employees?
JJ: My husband and I do it together.
HITC: What have been your greatest successes in business?
JJ: Getting to meet new people and receive a paycheck within my first 2 weeks in business.
HITC: What have you learned as a business owner?
JJ: You need to be consistent and follow-up. I've been in the industry for 18 years both on the corporate side and independent side and 1 thing always stands out -- follow up.
HITC: What are your goals?
JJ: To be able to replace what I was making as corporate employee and get ahead.
HITC: Tell us about you: family, pets, interests, etc.
JJ: My husband and I will be celebrating 19 years of marriage this year. We have 3 teenage boys (17, 14, and 13). We love to travel and spend time as a family. We also have a dog Cal, and 3 cats Donald, Daisy and Pluto.
JJ: I'm a firm believer in Everything Happens for a Reason. Don't settle for anything less and always strive for the best. "You miss 100% of the shots you don't take" -Wayne Gretzky
Hi. My name is Kelley Cole and I am the new Social Media and Event Coordinator for Delaware Housewives in the City. I am a mom to two amazing kids. My daughter (P) is 12 and my son (T) is 8. My husband works for a local education association and also serves on Dover's City Council. I was a high school English teacher for 16 years before leaving the classroom to work part-time as a trainer for an educational software company. I make sure I reserve time to play tennis, read chick lit, travel, and enjoy the small things in life (like wine and chocolate).
