I want to keep this simple because far too often we focus on having the day off of work, what barbecues we are attending and who can make the best potato salad.
This day is not one to forget the meaning and history of.
Thanks to all for their service and sacrifice.

Is Pinterest still cool? I remember when it first came out and the hour long rabbit holes I would go down looking up everything and anything, using Pinterest like my virtual cork board. Saving, all of the recipes, photos, historical articles, exercise routines, impossible but brilliant craft projects, etc.
I still have so many boards created, that I have always tried to come up with fun and quirky names for, and I visit them often if I need a refresher of what to make for dinner that week, or a new dessert.
Occasionally, when I have some major downtime, I will allow myself to go down one of those rabbit holes again and get lost in a world of creativity! Follow me and my boards here: PINTEREST IS COOL!
We have been having a crazy spring with all this snow... including our present forecast. There are still PLENTY of things for you to get out and do... especially with Memorial Day around the corner.
Westword has put together this great list and I definitely want to go to the Four Mile Historic Park!
