As of 8 days ago, it is officially SPRING! That doesn't mean too much in Colorado because we typically see more snow in the Spring than we do in the Winter time. Seeing as how we just had the craziest snow storm ever, the Bomb Cyclone, a few weeks ago... this season is turning out to be something else.
They always say Spring Showers bring May Flowers, but... it hasn't warmed up enough to have the moisture turn to rain just yet.
Even so, the Spring time (and Fall) is one of my most favorites. The air is still superbly crisp and sharp throughout the day with super sunny skies. Spring veggies start showing up. Birds start chirping. The thought of warmer weather and the Farmers Markets and festivals being around the corner are enough to keep my mind alive while driving to work at 6:30 AM in the sleeting weather.
I am planning on what to put in the garden and what flowers to plant while I await my tulips to pop up!
What are your favorite flowers to plant each year?
