Frosty fun in Florida? You bet! Take a road trip to Disney’s Blizzard Beach water park for some cooling off fun. This cute ski resort themed water park has rides for all ages and levels of thrills. You can take a ski lift up the mountain then choose how to zip down it. If floating around a long lazy river or sunbathing with a cocktail in hand then you are in luck too! Children under 48 inches tall can even splash around in their own water area complete with several toddler-sized waterslides.
I took the kids as a last hooray for summer break. Since school was literally starting the next day, I planned to stay only 5 hours but we were having so much fun we shut the park down - that was 10 hours of water park fun!
A few things to know before you go:
Parking is FREE (that never happens)
You can rent lockers for valuables
The food is basic but expensive, however you are allowed to bring in coolers for picnics
Water shoes would be useful because you will walk on hot concrete ALOT
They have child life jackets but you can also bring your own

Roses are red, violets are blue,
Millennial is Pink
And my champagne is too.
On my way to dinner at Homecomin' in Disney Springs I happened to see this beautiful pink minnie mouse ear champagne drink in the hands of a woman and set out on a mission to find one for myself. With a quick google search I found out this is a new drink called the Millennial Pink Celebration Toast was just released at Walt Disney World at the Amorette's Patissserie.
If you loved the rose gold trend or are a lover of the color pink and a Disney fan, then this may be exciting enough to make a special road trip to WDW soon! So the big question is What Is Millennial Pink? Best answer I found " it is sort of a grapefruit shade of apricotty salmon."
But as for this Disney created Millennial Pink cocktail - it is made with Fairy Tale Celebration Cuvee (cuvee is a fancy word for type of champagne) and it comes with a cute, eye-catching topper — a pair of chocolate Minnie Mouse ears that are actually chocolate. You can find this drink at Amorette’s Patisserie in Disney Springs.
While enjoying this lovely cocktail, I found out that this is not the only Pink Millennial Treat you can splurge on at Disney World:
If you have a millennial pink treat at Disney, share it with me on Facebook!
