If you’re looking for a fun, themed, convenient and budget-friendly place to stay while visiting Orlando, you have to check out Cabana Bay Beach Resort! My family recently went to Cabana Bay to celebrate the summer birthdays and we had the best time. The entire Universal Resort is designed with a fun retro theme that takes you back to the iconic beach hotels of the 1950s and 60s.
I’m super excited to share my photos and details of this vintage themed hotel with you!
The main lobby building is home to the Bayliner Diner-a cafeteria style restaurant, Starbuck's, Galaxy Bowl- a ten lanes of bowling alley with a full table service restaurant (DELICIOUS) & bar. You can work out at the complimentary Jack Lane Physical Fitness Studio, shop all things Universal, or conquer the universe at the Game-O-Rama arcade.
Our room at Cabana Bay Resort was a Family Suite - Pool View Room, which meant it was in the Castaway Building and looked over the main Cabana pool where we could feel the outside energy. The view was awesome and the room was simple but spacious.
The family suites have a few addition from the standard rooms::
-they sleep up to 6 people comfortably (2 queen beds and a pullout sofa)
-mini kitchen with small refrigerator, microwave and sink
-2 flat screen tv's
From hula hoop contests to poolside movies, you’ll find something fun to do poolside for the whole family. In addition to the two large pools, there is a lazy river, splash pad and a waterslide. Fire pits, yard games and lots of poolside seating perfect for soaking up the warm Florida sunshine.
If you are planning a family road trip to Orlando, take a look at the rates for Cabana Bay!
