I never order anything online without looking for a promo code. Yes, I've got the Honey extension. Yes, I've got the eBates extension, but that is not always enough. Yesterday was a perfect example as I tried to order an edible arrangement as a thank you gift for someone. Edible Arrangements is overpriced as it is, the cost of delivery is ridiculous when the place is just down the street and none of the promo codes ever seem to work with "selected items". So, I started googling. Refusing to pay full price with no rewards. I did the email sign-up which said 15% off your next order. Well, the fine print is pick-up only, certain items only....what a rip off, but bait-and-switch story for another day.
In my search I came across Coupon Cabin. I was unaware that they also had an extension and a cash back program, so I was quite pleasantly surprised when the cash back was 18%! I earned over $20 back on my order! Then, I set my payout preference to Amazon e-gift cards where I'll now earn an extra 10%!
While my experience with Edible Arrangements was not great. I feel much better knowing I'll get $20+ back in Amazon credit to use toward something else I will inevitably need anyway. It's not quite as good as the instant gratification of a coupon code, but technically more rewarding than any of the coupons, had I selected an item I didn't really want to purchase just because I could use a promo code.
Be a smart shopper!

We always say we are going to do things differently in the new year. Well, I thought that "No Time Like the Present" was the perfect motto for my new AR Workshop Belmont clock! As a bit of an AR addict, I've made most of the projects that I would want, so I was so excited to see these new clocks and blanket ladders as AR options! I think I'll be making another for upstairs, but I just loved this clock!
This project was an ebony stain with antique white paint over top, I selected two shades of blue for the numbers and border and a gray for the pattern. I'll install the black hardware before I hang it up tonight.
