I've always been one to take interest in quotes. Just now, I have a screen open behind me with my documents and there's a quote of the day saved from a Forbes pop-up window. Just to prove it, I'll share it below. Dreams don't work unless you do is a quote that sticks with me year-after-year. I've always thought of myself as a goal-setter, rather than a dreamer. I like to set attainable goals so that I can feel that sense of accomplishment when I get there, but what fun is that? Recently, my team leader with Color Street shared a vision board. I'd heard of them for sure, seen them many times, but never thought about putting one together just for life in general. I've had friends do them for weddings, even my mom did something similar for our family's dream home vision, but life in general, that was a new idea. Something to motivate me. Something to remind me when I'm working long nights, when I'm doing homework all weekend. Something to GET me to my office to work harder, do more, dream bigger.
So, this week, I'm making time in my busy schedule to list out all of my dreams. The reasonable ones. The wild ones. ALL of them. I'm going to hang them all up on the bulletin board in my office at home and one by one, I'm going to work on my dreams. For the last ten months my dream was just to get that bulletin board hung up, so we're headed in the right direction!!!
Here are just a few and I'll share my board when I'm finished!
I'm Katie and I'm so excited to be bringing Housewives in the City to Gaston County! I'm a resident of Mount Holly. I absolutely love traveling, sports and I'm always up to learning something new. I cannot wait to meet all of you!
