No matter what you are looking to do this weekend, there is something going on for everyone. Here's a look at some that I found to be the most enticing:
Cavendish Brewing - Join them starting at 12 pm and celebrate their one year anniversary and the can release for their famous beer!
Hickory Hops Fest - Take a little ride up to Hickory for the annual festival. It has been a big deal for many years and is a crowd-favorite. No one under 21 is allowed to enter, so no children here.
Brunch at the String Bean - from 11am to 2pm, they'll have live music on the patio. Grab brunch and enjoy the beautiful weather.
Girl Tribe Pop Up - Grab the girls and head across the river to this pop up party with over 100 vendors. Tickets are free, just grab them in advance from the Facebook page. Our friends at AR Workshop will be there!
Tuck Fest - Bands, Competitions, Vendors, Demos and more at the U.S. National Whitewater Center. The festival continues through tomorrow.
Spring Art & Music Festival - Head over to Cramerton for this fun festival. If you've never taken in the beauty of Goat Island, this is a great place to take the kids.
Live Music with Michael Lowe - From 7 to 9 pm, check out York Chester Brewing Company for local music and local beer.
Gaston County Library Book Sale - Today is the last day to shop the Friends of the Library Book Sale. Take a look, save a ton on new reads and contribute to the library system. Our libraries are more than just free book "rental", they offer classes for adults, activities for kids, movie nights, and so much more.
Star Party - The Schiele Museum is the place to go for the 6th annual Star Party. *Must buy museum tickets and $5 admission to star party. Make it worth your while and take the kids for the afternoon and enjoy the Star Party from 7-10pm.
I'm Katie and I'm so excited to be bringing Housewives in the City to Gaston County! I'm a resident of Mount Holly. I absolutely love traveling, sports and I'm always up to learning something new. I cannot wait to meet all of you!
