Hampton Roads Housewives is so happy to partner with the G.R.O.W. Foundation, Inc., which stands for Girls Recognizing Our Worth, founded by Neisha Himes. A brave fighter of Domestic Violence, she created this group as a way to bring awareness of this growing epidemic that plagues many woman and men of all ages. She has won numerous awards for her continued advocacy of Domestic Violence with awareness with spoken word poetry performances and community service. Her story through spoke word poetry gives you the perspective of her tragedy to where she overcame her obstacles to find strength to make a change.
The G.R.O.W. Foundation, Inc. based out of Hampton Roads, a Non-Profit Organization, which brings awareness to Domestic Violence. They offer victim and survivor assistance. Ms. Himes brings the power of self-expression and empowerment to women.
