Hampton Roads is the area where you are able to explore different places where learning can become fun. Art is one way we can express ourselves to its fullest where we can create an image. My family and I were very fortunate to see the sneak peek of the Wonder Studio at The Chrysler Museum of Art In Norfolk on July 13th.
This exhibit now open to the public, families can create there own art in an interactive experience like no other art museum before! The Wonder Studio presents different themes based on what the Museum collection has to offer. If you are a frequent flyer of The Chrysler Museum then you know the amazing works of art already in place. Currently, they are exploring the Human Figures. The Studio lets you reimagine what you can do with the current art collection. Make your own masterpiece from,”The Collection”. With activities ranging from digital interactions with, The Colorscape where you are able to submerge your body to dance and move with color. My two children who are at different ages loved this portion of the Wonder Studio since they were creating masterpieces with there own bodies.
Seeing Art is subjective to the individual. What one person sees another may see something completely different. The Artquarium does just that by giving the onlooker the visual outlook of artwork from different levels. Along with the tools and aids that help identify the areas of the Human Body. The Studio lets you reimagine what you can do with the current art collection.
The Wonder Studio, like The Chrysler Museum, is Free and open to the public daily. Due to the limited space entrance in the Wonder Studio will be timed and ticketed! You are able to get your tickets early online or at the welcome desk. Do not forget to explore some of the other amazing works of Art at The Chrysler Museum.
Art is like a Fish Bowl...see it through your eyes!

For our July ladies night out we are featuring Here For The Girls as our featured charity. Beyond Boobs! offers in-person hugs through community-based support systems led by trained peer facilitators in numerous localities. Beyond Boobs! is a support service of Here for the Girls, Inc., with the mission to improve the lives of young women affected by breast cancer. Pink Link Is the Nationwide portion and 24 hour/7 day week online support.
“Our unique brand of support improves the quality of life of the young women we serve by helping them move away from fear and uncertainty towards feeling confident, energized, and hopeful while helping them deal with the realities of the disease. We do this by nurturing a positive outlook, providing in-depth, not-your-typical support, and healing mind, body, and spirit – to help them live life with an exclamation point (!) instead of a period.”- Here for The Girls
This non- for- profit is all about supporting women to offer improvement for those who have had a significant impact with those who have suffered from Breast Cancer, especially for young women. Having the support just to deal with the realities of this disease can make the difference for that individual to continue to fight to overcome what they may face. For many women having this sort of support system either by in-person or virtual contact will be all you may need to be a survivor!
