None of my babies have been great sleepers. My two oldest were up every hour on the hour to eat, and I always attributed that to them being large babies (10 pounds at birth). With Hudson (now 6 months old) when he was first born he surprised us all and started sleeping 7 to 9 hours straight by two weeks old. I was thinking man this is going to be a breeze. For some reason around the 4 month mark his sleeping regressed and I was lucky if he slept for 2-3 hours straight. Him waking multiple times a night was turning me into a walking zombie. So I was excited to hear about Little Ones and their Baby Sleep Programs. I figured what can it hurt to give them a try and see if we can get Hudson’s sleeping back on track.
When I signed up I was excited to get started with the program and see what all it had to offer. I personally signed up for the Baby Sleep Program for babies 3 - 12 months. The app is full of so much information and it breaks it down based on babies age so that you are able to find the right information that will work best for you and your baby. There is tons of detailed information, including: sleep associations, self-settling, sleep regression, early waking, and so much more to help give you the knowledge that you need to understand your baby’s behavior.
One of my favorite features is the Comprehensive Sleeping and Feeding Schedules. These schedules are formed around your baby’s age and help give you the best schedule for baby’s development. They help guide you to a healthy daytime routine for baby so that they have a more settled nights sleep. I loved being able to look at the schedule for Hudson age and see where I needed to tweak our current schedule to make it more beneficial for him.
Another thing that I love about this program is that they understand that not all babies are the same. They give you the information and resources that you need in order to get your baby on track without using a cry it out method. For Hudson and I, we have had to do some work on Fed to Sleep. Hudson has grown use to breastfeeding until he falls asleep for naps and bedtime. Using the Little Ones Program I have been working on being able to lay Hudson down and him being able to go to sleep on his own. They helped by breaking down the steps with Touch Soothe and the progress we should be making during each Phase. This has helped us tremendously with our night time routine.
Using the Little Ones Program, I have seen a huge difference in Hudson’s sleeping patterns. He is starting to sleep for longer periods and I am using their different guides to help me along the way.
