When you have children one of your main concerns in safety. They are in the car day in and day out so you want to make sure that when you choose a car seat that they are protected. I was given the chance to review the Evenflo Sureride DLX car seat and would love to share my findings with you.
The Evenflo Sureride DLX car seat is very affordable and can be purchased for under $100. It is a convertible car seat so it can be used rear or forward facing depending on your child's age and weight. They have a few different patterns to choose from but I liked the grey and black and it looked good with the interior of my car. The first thing that I noticed was that the seat was very lightweight. When I took it out of the box it was fully assembled and I was able to install it in under 10 minutes. Which was great.
It was easy to get my youngest buckled and ready to go in the seat. He seemed to be comfortable while riding in it. I did notice that there was not a lot of padding to the seat, but he did not seem to mind too much. He did complain when I first tightened the seat about the shoulder strap bothering him but we were able to fix that and go on our way.
I would definitely recommend this seat to someone looking for a budget seat or a 2nd car seat for grandparents and/or baby sitters. It seemed safe and sturdy but did not seem like it would be extremely comfortable for long distances.
