The Jazz Festival started on a rainy Thursday,! By Sunday, it had cleared and my sisters wanted to go. I preferred staying home on kid-watch, because I knew I had a busy couple of weekends of travel. I lived vicariously through them and all of their pictures and stories. I felt like had attended minus the 85 dollars. The food and music are always winners.
What does a local girl think of the Jazz Fest?
The festival continues to bring back the most notorious food vendors and surprise us with musical talents. I always get excited to learn of the new performers. Crawfish Enchiladas, Crawfish Strudel, Mushrooms, Joyce's Lemonade, Crawfish Bread... You can't geaux wrong with crawfish in something...Never blink an eye at these events! Who knows, you might even spot a local/national celebrity...
Crawfish Enchiladas and Crawfish Monica. The Crawfish Bread is also pretty good.
