New Orleans – June 25, 2020 – Galatoire’s is teaming up with Boys Hope Girls Hope to offer “Galatoire’s at Home,” a first of its kind gala celebrating the nonprofit’s 40th anniversary. Guests are encouraged to don their upscale attire, turn on their favorite tunes and enjoy a classic New Orleans fine dining experience from the comfort and safety of their own home.
“Boys Hope Girls Hope has been operating in New Orleans for 40 years as a safe haven and a loving environment for kids who really need it,” said Cydne Shipley, development director for Boys Hope Girls Hope. “While we would love to celebrate in our traditional fashion, unfortunately due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we had no choice but to cancel upcoming fundraising events which are vital to our day-to-day operations and long-term sustainability. We hope our community considers the future of Boys Hope Girls Hope and takes advantage of this unique fundraising event.”
Galatoire’s at Home will take place Saturday, July 11 and Saturday, July 25. For those who purchase tickets, a delectable three course Galatoire’s meal will be delivered directly to your home by a Boys Hope Girls Hope volunteer wearing a mask and fresh gloves. Menu options are below.

“Our industry has been hit hard and we know nonprofits face the same uncertainties,” said Galatoire’s president and CEO Melvin Rodrigue. “We’re happy to be partnering with Boys Hope Girls Hope to participate in this one of a kind fundraising event. Even though this is a difficult time for everyone, we want to ensure those that are making our community better are able to continue their good work as well.”
The mission of Boys Hope Girls Hope is to nurture and guide motivated young people in need to become well-educated, career-ready men and women for others. Tickets for the event are available online here.
