The Coastal Spanish Restaurant Extends Dinner Service to Seven Nights a Week
Costera is pleased to announce nightly dinner service beginning Tuesday, January 21. While currently closed on Tuesdays, the restaurant will extend its hours of operation to seven nights a week. Happy hour specials will also be offered seven days a week from 4 – 6 p.m. and include half-priced wines by-the-glass, cocktail features and specially-priced tapas. Paying respect to their traditional Spanish communal-dining concept, Chef Burns’ will continue to serve the Uptown neighborhood with signature shareable dishes ranging from tapas-style plates like Beef Shank and Potato Bombas to Gambas al Ajillo with Oregano, Lemon, and Sherry and Seafood Paella. Costera is a coastal Spanish restaurant and bar by co-owners Chef Brian Burns and Restaurateur Reno De Ranieri located at 4938 Prytania Street, on the corner of Robert Street in New Orleans' Uptown neighborhood district. The 5,400-square foot restaurant features coastal Spanish cuisine, highlighting local produce and Gulf seafood in a casual, communal-dining setting. The expansive 110-seat dining room and 18-seat bar is reminiscent of Spain’s historic bars and restaurants. The beverage program mirrors the kitchen's respect for high-quality ingredients with classic Spanish cocktails, fortified spirits, Spanish ciders and an old-world focused wine list. Costera is open for dinner nightly beginning January 21.
