Did Beyonce just pull a fast one on us, y'all. Deja vu or what? Over her 22 year career span, I remember Beyonce changing her look then quickly going back to her classic honey blonde look.
I swear it is Deja vu.
Apparently, Beyonce debuted her new dark brown hair color at a '"Date Night" with her hubby. They attended a Golden State Warriors game (a few weeks ago). Her trench coat, tiny/trendy sunglasses and her outfit colors looked stunning courtside.
For some women, she represents the ultimate inspo for hair: Box Braids, Long Weaves, Pixie Cuts, Diva Wigs.. you name it! Those 'Feelin Myself' Selfies started from some colorist's chair.
My friend sent me this picture last night and I woke up SCREAMING! Not really, but my friend knows how much I really like Beyonce and was wondering how I felt about the change.
I always loved her honey blonde hair but it is always good to switch it up now and then. You gotta know how to flip that money three ways. I am sure competition is not a priority for Beyonce, but keeping a fresh appearance must be hard work. She is naturally beautiful but after that Homecoming/Coachella performance she has added pressure to come with something BETTER.
Let's face it, Wikipedia has her pictured in the classic golden color. From No No No, Say My Name to Ape Ape Ape, she is known for her hues of honey.
Will this change her career? Probably not, she will keep SHINING, SHINING, SHINING! You can't study Beyonce, you gon' need help tryin' to study her FLOW!
I don't care for celebrities that change colors from pink to blue day to day but it is good to update every so often. Beyonce, we will be keeping an eye out for your next look!
How often do you think celebrities should change their look?
A few lyrics from my favorite duo song with Beyonce and Jay Z - Deja Vu:
My dough keep the scales tipping
