New Orleans Housewives in the city sponsor
I am so excited to introduce one of our Sponsors for the Girls Night Out Event. Candace is a New Orleans resident who has been busy..very busy honey! She is a true Southern Belle. More about her and her business is below.
When I first started crafting, I did not have any intentions on making it an actual business. I started crafting as a way to relax after a long day at work, it became very therapeutic for me as well as fun. I started out with t-shirts and thanks to the many crafting groups on Facebook lol I decided to give Tumblers a chance and fell in love!! From there, I started getting orders for shirts and Tumblers and decided hey, why not make it a business. What’s the saying, “the average millionaire has seven streams of income”, so why not make money doing something I enjoy. I started off with just adding names and monograms to cups, then I discovered all of the different techniques from glitter to marble to marble paint AND glitter, I mean all of the different styles are endless. My ultimate goal is for my business to be big enough that I can stop working my Corporate job and craft full time along with possibly starting an HR consulting firm because let’s face it, I still really do love Human Resources as well lol. Although my main focus is custom Tumblers, I still enjoy creating shirts and other items as well. I feel as though everything is worth a try!! Who knows what I may add a touch of glitter to next!!
