I love my house, but I always have my eye on new construction. Every time I step into a Miller and Smith build, I immediately want to put an offer on it. So when they asked me to partner to host a happy hour with my friends, I could hardly say no! Miller and Smith has built new townhouses at Signal Hill Station in Manassas. The location is perfect for families and commuters as it's just steps from the VRE and backs to Signal Hill Park. I had no trouble finding it just off Manassas Drive and Route 28 - in the section where they are redeveloping retail, residential and commercial properties.
The kitchen is always my favorite room in the house. Whether we are eating, doing homework, or playing Texas Hold 'Em, the kitchen is where my family spends most of our time. I think Miller and Smith calls their design an aptly named "connoisseur kitchen" as they are planned with every feature you could imagine. We easily fit 15+ around the island for a fun happy hour and wine party... later followed by cheesecake stuffed strawberries for dessert!
The Miller and Smith townhomes all are three level with two car garages - and start at the mid 300s! At that price, you can own for less than what you'd pay to rent! You can view the homes and floorplans to see which model would best fit your family. I personally liked the Union Station model. Although it was smaller and cozy (at almost 2000 sq ft), the kitchen and living space was very open and welcoming.

Hi! my name is Andrea and I'm a not-so-average Northern Virginia blogger, mom, and transplant from the Midwest. I host Girls Night Out events, meet ups, and write about events and my adventures in the DC area. I love to travel, brunch, and drink wine with my neighbors! I'm known to live on the wild side and order Venti iced double shots at 5pm.
