Is this just me, or can you all relate? I decided I wanted to grow out my hair, but it just felt heavy and I was ready for a lower maintenance style.
If there's anyone that can cure the winter hair woes it is the talented team at The Rittenhouse Spa & Club. Upon walking in, I was introduced to my stylist, Paul (more on his fabulous self later). I was led to the Changing Room, where I was provided a robe to wear so that dye wouldn't touch my clothes.
When I sat in the chair, Paul listened to me and immediately had a solution that would give me a color that would complement my skin tone, but would also blend nicely with the fading color I had in already. When it came time for the cut, we decided to incorporate layers and to switch my part so that I could start growing my fringe bangs into a side bang. The result? I feel lighter and brighter!
Paul Labrecque has been selected as one of Vanity Fair's "Top Stylists" in the United States. He has three Manhattan salons, a Philadelphia location (Rittenhouse!), a private luxury line of hair care products and a retail business.
Trained in London, he embarked on a career that took him around the world working with celebrities and models. He returned to New York and opened his first Manhattan location in 1988.
