Oh, what a night! Our Beachy Girls’ Night out event at Oceanic Pompano was a huge success! We had almost 300 attendees, 18 vendors and an absolutely beautiful view of the beach and the Pompano Beach Pier. Most everyone was decked out in ‘tropical outfits’ which was perfect for our event.
Our Charity Spotlight was Women in Distress, which is a full-service domestic violence center serving Broward County, Fl. Their mission is to stop domestic violence abuse for everyone through intervention, education and advocacy. Many of these women are forced to leave their home in the middle of the night, taking little to nothing with them. And thanks to you and our generous community, our Charity Spotlight Women in Distress were able to collect a truck and a car full of ‘Welcome Baskets,’ to help families move forward as they build a new life for themselves and their families. The ‘Welcome Baskets’ contained everyday items like: pantry items, linens, cleaning supplies, personal hygiene items, items for babies, children and teens.
Another big element to our Beachy Girls’ Night Out event was having local women artisans and businesses exhibit their work. Be sure to keep these local businesses in mind when purchasing gifts. Shopping local and supporting other women helps make the world go around.

Hi there! I am Angel and live a happy life in Pompano Beach with my wonderful husband, Scott, and our two dogs, Brady and Buddy.
I love to travel, the color blue, Netflix binges, Tito’s and gluten-free chocolate raspberry cake. I also have a serious obsession with pictures!
In addition to Housewives in the City, I am a real estate and portrait photographer. I basically make people and things look pretty.
Meeting new friends, making a difference for non-profits and helping businesses grow are my passions. And that is what we get to do at our monthly girls’ nights out!
I can’t wait to meet you. All women are welcome, and we are going to have a ton of fun!
