What are your favorite places to visit in North Carolina for a weekend? There are so many fun options less than a 4 hour drive from Raleigh. The beach is the first one that comes to mind (Wrightsville, Topsail, Carolina Beach, Outer Banks, Emerald Isle, etc.) followed by the mountains (Blowing Rock, Boone, Asheville, etc.) and then the big cities (Charlotte, Greensboro, Winston-Salem, etc.). North Carolina offers so much to do with beaches and mountains so close by! Big cities such as Charlotte can be so much fun also to see a sports game, NASCAR race, Great Wolf Lodge, concert, and so on. What are you favorite places to go on a weekend trip?

Hello! I'm Carli, a girl originally from Ohio, who could not be more proud to call Raleigh home the last 12+ years. By day, I work at SAS Institute but when I'm not working, I'm a mom to an amazing boy and 2 dogs. In my free time, I love to stay active working out, playing sports, traveling, crafting, attending a sports game/concert, or shopping!
